Körber said it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Stellium, a supply chain consulting firm based in Houston. Under the plan, Stellium will become part of a new company called Körber Stellium once the deal closes.
Stellium works with SAP tools to help companies run their supply chains and manufacturing. It has offices in North America, the Middle East, and India. Körber has been building its own supply chain business around consulting and software, and this move brings the two teams together.
Körber said the deal strengthens its reach in key markets and adds more SAP know-how to its business. The companies said they plan to help customers build supply chains that can handle change, stay strong, and grow even in a tough global market.
