UPS is rolling out a series of new AI-powered tools to improve package visibility, customer service, returns processing, and international shipping as the company continues to modernize its global logistics operations.
The company said it has spent more than three years deploying artificial intelligence across its business and is now expanding those efforts to support customers and simplify cross-border shipping.
“After 118 years of reinventing logistics, we have entered a defining moment – using AI to simplify how we work across the enterprise, from customer acquisition and onboarding to how we plan, move and deliver,” said Carol B. Tomé, CEO of UPS.
